Creative director

Ian is one of Australia’s most experienced
creatives, working in London and Sydney.
He has won many awards along the way,
including a Gold Lion at Cannes. He was
senior writer at DDB and FCB and later
Creative Director for Neo One and Bozell.
Ian was also Worldwide CD for Garuda
Indonesia (both airline and tourism) at
FCB. Ian has been heavily involved in
the strategy behind brands in areas
such as financial services, B2B, FMCG,
automotive, pharmaceutical and launches.

Ian is the driving force behind Highway
101’s philosophy of discovering the
‘core truth’ of the services or products
offered by clients. He stays focused on
‘the big picture' of every project, and
is frustrating in his ability to discover
a better solution when the rest of the
team thinks the project is buttoned down.
