Snap Level 2
The Snap Level 2 project has been one of the most ambitious, challenging and satisfying assignments Highway 101 has been involved in.
It began with a series of discussions about the future direction of Snap Printing, a highly successful franchise that has become Australia's number one printer. Now, after more than 100 years, they recognised that it was time to explore new market opportunities.
The results of these discussions led to the creation of a completely fresh direction for the company - Snap Level 2. A new concept that would, for the first time, introduce a wide range of affordable marketing services to the SME market, and be a natural extension to Snap's printing services.
To make this possible, HIghway 101 developed a unique system which would allow Snap to offer a range of professional services that had previously only been available from design groups and ad agencies, usually at a cost that SME's could not afford.
Highway 101's involvement in this project has been total. Working closely with Snap, we developed all the essential components that would lead to the creation of Snap Level 2. For example, after many months of brain-storming we came up with the name itself - Snap Level 2. We also devised the system that will make it possible to offer a range of marketing services, including a "Launch Your Business", "Refresh Your Business" and "Promote Your Business" package. Each one enables Snap to offer unique creative service solutions for every client, yet at a very affordable cost.
Again, Highway 101 was responsible not just for the system itself, but also the package offerings and the naming of the packages.
Naturally, all the creative development of the Level 2 brand was the responsibility of Highway 101. The logo, all visual identity and marketing materials, including Website design, were all important components produced by our team, in-house.
Another exciting element was the development of the Snap Level 2 concept stores. Rather than abandoning the respected equity in the Snap Printing brand, it was decided that Level 2 would be a store within a store. Working closely with a leading team of interior designers, Highway 101 co-developed a radical new 'pod' concept.
The Level 2 pod is currently being road-tested at the first concept store in Eastwood Sydney. Soon, more stores will follow, with the intention of extending the Snap Level 2 brand throughout Australia in the future.
